[/i][/u]For those whom lived a good life Shangra-La awaits otherwise they are shackled then sent to the gates of hell. The world of Shangra-La is a vast infinite world similar yet not so similar to Earth in that technology is not of importance. People are kind, never grow old or hungry unless they desire and can even reincarnate at any given moment by speaking to the King of The Azrael's whom is also the King of The Mahogany Desk. The Other Side, is known as the afterlife where souls of the dearly departed reside. A king resides here in a desk at his building where the souls passing by are judged to be sentenced either to Shangra-La or Hell.
Hell[/i] On the other hand, Hell can not be escaped and is a fate that must be ultimately be taken. If this is a soul's path then they will be faced with their punishment, whatever it might be, for so long until they are allowed to reincarnate.
Avalon (“Resting Place of Heroes”) is a section of heaven associated with warriors that have lived lives of self-service going so far as to defy destiny itself impacting history. Only those whom have “proven themselves worthy” may enter. Few make it in but for those who do it is a paradise similar to that of the Norse legend Valhalla where warriors may do constant battle without fear of “staying dead” for they will revive soon after, or one could simply live out a peaceful if they so desire. Their community is similar to the days of the middle ages.

Azrael (“Angel of Death”)[/i], or Spirit Guide is the modern term, is a rare race as well title given to various spirits in Shangra-La that act as grimreapers. With permission they are granted this power from The King of The Mahogany Desk whom was known as the first Azael. In years long past he went by another name, Lord Death. The Spirit Guides duty is to guide spirits of the dearly departed towards The Other Side to be judged. While they bring others many are left as wondering spirits, however, for the most part Spirit Guides miss few as they can willingly force spirits in masses to the other side if they wished. However, for those whom are “bound” to Earth by some reason, rather regret or obsession, it might be impossible to force them over as a person must be willing to pass on. They are capable of being seen by normal humans if they wished.
King of The Mahogany Desk[/i], or Lord Death, is an older man that is thousands of years old. Depicted as an older gent who enjoys disco, heavy metal, wrestling bears but has an allergy to cats but he loves them; thus his pet Skunk Stinky . Currently Lord Death calls himself Philmore. A nice guy who loves kids but also gets a bit flirty and has been trying to instate short miniskirts as a policy for the female Azrael's but the past one-hundred years his four-hundred and thirty-two attempts has failed. His has a famous catch phrase that at the every board-meeting he says "I would like to bring up the matter of uniforms". Despite being a flirt Philmore is a highly respected and powerful individual whom has a serious side that is rarely seen.
